Sharon Pieniak received her B.F.A. in graphic design from Boston University in 1993. Her professional experience includes print design, web design, photography and illustration, as well as teaching design and photography to kids and adults. In 1999, she founded Bluecat Media, a graphic design studio originally based out of Portland, Maine. Drawing on her training in fine art and visual communication, Sharon's style reflects a clean aesthetic sensibility that is elegant, smart and intuitive.

As publisher and designer at Wayward Park Book Design and Publishing, Sharon helps writers self-publish their work. Her own original published books include Truly Napa Valley, with Truly Big Sur scheduled to be released in 2018.

In 2007, Sharon hit the road with an Airstream travel trailer in tow. After many years of working and living nomadically (see www.JoyridesofAmerica.com and www.TheSilverSnail.com), she is currently stationed in Big Sur, California where she continues to enjoy Airstream living, exploring the spectacular west coast and discovering new ventures in design and publishing.
